Fall Riding

Cold weather has been creeping in to Central New York recently,
but we were given Sunshine and upper 70's yesterday.

Perfect day to take the '76 out for a few hours and test the new left hand seals, refurbished front brake disc and caliper.

Maples and sumac on Coldbrook Road near Homer:

These maples seemed to be on fire on Smith St in Moravia:

Returning home, the weatherman suggested that this might be the last warm day of the year, so I put gas stabilizer in the '83' 82, '75, FJR1300, and the TY250 and took them all for a spin as the sun was setting.

I have my head prepared for the brief respite we call "winter".
I'm ready for Spring 2021.
It won't be long.

Yamadude, very nice Autumn colors. But for me its pissing down with rain today so went out to the garage and started the bike and sat on it for 5minutes revving away . No helmet either!

It’s a shame those colors don’t last longer!

The only way I know how to preserve the colors, Bob, is to press some leaves between sheets of wax paper,
as my mom taught me as a small child.

Gonna grab a few from the maple in my side yard this afternoon and try it again.
Its only been 60 years since the last time.
