FANTASTIC info. Now this is what I call tech. interaction....Love it. Gonna get my waders out and jump into this as soon as the bike arrives. The “devil in the details” is what it’s all about.

Forgot to update this.

I'm going to saddle-up alongside gggGary and give my official okey-dokey endorsement to Valvoline VR1 20w50.

Been running the VR oil for quite a while now, and have yet to experience any of the aforementioned sticking/dragging clutch issues.

So, I'm convinced that there's something going on with some of these modern oils, perhaps additives that degrade from heat/age/shear/oxidation and turn into glue molecules...
