Fram filter question

Not that I love Fram filters in every application ( which I do not ), but is there a Fram filter that can be bought locally that fits Mikes oil cooler filter assembly? It uses the Honda filters.

The orange body filters are crap, if you are going to use a Fram, use the grey body with a black top.

If you do not believe me, cut them open.

lettle . . you don't understand. The filter I need is an open element. You have to understand the Mike's filter/cooler system.

if you take the champion # X301 or the Hiflo # HF112 into a good auto supply they could probably cross reference from there, that site is referencing mc and atv filters, sometimes you have to do your own research

well sure, I could research it . . but this is an XS650 site right? You mean no one else here runs the Mike's filter/cooler kit? I thought someone could snap out a filter I could get.

I have found that the best deal for me is to get mine from XS650 Direct (Mikesxs in Canada). They are made in Tiawan and seem to work just fine. I pay $3.92 each, and just buy them when I am ordering other items so that the shipping cost is spread over many items. I have 6 in my inventory right now.

Yes, any of those should work in the "Heiden Oil Filter/Cooler" that Mikesxs sells. They are paper filters with a built in pressure relief valve.
