Good Heater?

When i worked out of my garage I had a kerosine heater from Lowes which would get my two bays nice and toasty. Im in a shop with a large natural gas heater mounted on the ceiling and electric heat in the office, but one day I'd love to have a shop with a wood stove for heat.

before we got all environmentally concious ,...back in the 1970's a local garage used to have an oil heater that used sump oil from all the oil changes

Didn't half pen and ink :yikes: ......but it was free

I keep my nuts warm with this:

65,000btu Hamilton. Pretty much the same as a Modine. Overkill for my 14x22 garage, but I open the door a lot bringing snowmobiles in and out.

...how many cats does it take to evaluate a heater ?:wink2:

Here, a minimum of 4. It's a union thing. I have no say in the matter.

Every winter my thoughts turn to an outdoor wood furnace. Have plenty of firewood, prefer to have it outdoors anyways, keeps the mess out there. But, they are $$$$$$ :yikes:

One of the out door wood burners with the radiant floor heat. Sounds great. Warm floor.
