Humm, My rear spoke kit p/n:256.255304.00/ 1620 REAR..all look the same,

Other that three are 2-3 mm shorter, they all look the same to me. Got them off of Ebay and the total is 2 short of 36 total. I see that there are different Yamaha pn's for inner/outer rear spokes 1972 XS.

Sounds completely wrong to me. I'd return for a full refund including shipping both ways. The three that are a little short is not a big deal, they'll work, but everything else is wrong. Can you provide a link to where you bought them?

Yes, there are different part numbers for inner spokes (25396-90) and outer spokes (25397-90), also another different part number for a complete set (25304). Looks like you got all outers there (25397-90). Are these original Yamaha spokes or aftermarket? I see a partial Yamaha parts bag at the top of one of your pics. Many of the parts diagrams don't even list the inners and outers, only the complete set.

Thanks. It was just listed with the correct set p/n Original Yamaha NOS. Bag was opened...I knew it was short 2 spokes but was not expecting all of one kind/ part number. All of the diameters were OK top and bottom, all 650 spoke dia. OK, so those are outer.
