Hi guys, all the wiring diagrams I can find show the XS650G (1980) pickup leads to be black/white, red/white and green/white. I have three late model alternators on my shelf and they all have black, orange and grey leads. WTH? I'm trying to use the "Simplified 1980 Wiring Diagram" and its been going great so far. Any ideas?

Ignition pickup: What color wires?

The wires change color at the three prong connector located on the backbone above the rear of the engine. The orange gray black come from the pick ups, the main harness and TCI use the other colors.
White green goes to orange
white red to gray
and the black white to black
