Is this small cavity on edge of rear hub a problem do you think?

Hi guys,

I sourced this 1973 TX 750 hub as an upgrade and after cleaning off the layers of crud with 80/240 Dico wheels I found this cavity on the edge (drive side).

Is this hub good?

I plan to relace the wheel with new TX750 spokes (Buchanan's).

Can I just fill this with JB Weld and not worry about it, or is this the type of defect that can cause problems down the road?

How does the flaw index with the spoke holes nearest?

Never mind, I think I can see it. Don't think it's a problem.

If you can get the hole clean enough the JB Weld won't hurt. It will reinforce that area some.

Q-tip and alcohol should work. Maybe spray electrical cleaner.
