It's hot!

It's hot here in Iowa. I parked my bike in a parking lot and as I walked back I thought it was leaning over a bit like it might fall over. When I got up to inspect I was amazed to see the kickstand was sinking into the pavement ! The pic just doesn't do it justice!

I have a piece of plywood that just slips in my back pocket. I carry it on every ride. If I think the pavement is soft or I have to park on soft ground, out comes my bit of plywood.

That's crazy, I had no idea that would be an issue with these bikes. I never thought they'd be heavy enough. I guess that is why all those fat boys have the layover bars on their bikes.

I will start to carry a piece of wood in the tool space behind the battery from now on!

I had that happen a few times so i welded a front sprocket from an old dirtbike on my kickstand.... all good now!
