He made me nice little bit holder for my dremel bits. Working with a bunch of automation/robotics techs has its advantages. I loan him tools when he needs them and occasionally wrench/fab on his trailer and he prints me stuff.Man a 3D printer would be nice. I’m always trying to talk to my boss into getting a cnc plasma

I do lots of other stuff for folks for free too, It's nice when someone returns the favor. Honestly I don't really mind it most times. The HD kicker arm is a shallow offset crank arm from an early ratchet top 4spd (panhead I think) the spool on the kicker is a drilled WL factory racer style. @Beags64 machined the factory XS kicker shaft down to a square to accept the HD crank arm.Yeah I need those kinds of friends haha. I usually end up fixing the neighbor’s trailers or log splitters for free. I’m really liking the way the Harley kick starter looks on there.
Made up the mounting tabs for my battery box today.

Thanks @Mailman, I didn’t totally miss it. I ran the fab shop at ACB2 when I was in the Navy and then did a lot of fab and SS process pipe welding when I got out. I’d have made much prettier welds in those days when I was doing it every day though. I’m grateful to not be sucking welding fumes anymore, that’s a one way ticket to COPD. I’ve been watching my dad (union pipefitter & rail car fabricator) struggling to breathe for several years now. I love welding, as a hobby…You missed your calling, you should’ve been a welder by the looks of those welds! Very nice!
Yep, showed up yesterday. Oreilly’s turned it around in less than 24hr from an online order to my front door.I gather your 1.5" tubing arrived.
