My rephased Cafe Racer build is complete

There are a few threads on here on XS750 tank mounting. They way I mounted mine was to remove the tank cups/ears on the frame, drill a hole through the frame where the cups were and use a long nut and bolt to attach the tank rubbers to the frame. For the rear mounting tab, you are going to have to bend it upwards a bit so it sits lowere on the frame.

I removed the tabs and welded a 1/2" piece of 3/8" steel pipe to each side of the frame so that I could set it up like the 750's came from the factory - Rubber dampers on the frame and the tank slides on to them.

Beautiful bike. I would throw some uni's over those velocity stacks. They don't look as good, but they'll save your motor.

I just like to drink beer and look at it.

This is the semi-daily rider when it's warm and not raining.

What front fender did you get to fit under the fork brace. I have an Omar brace and am looking for a fender to fit under it. The OEM is to wide. Thanks.
