Is anyone on here owns a 77-79 xs 750 please post and let me know I am putting one back together and wanted maybe video or pictures of certain areas so I can figure it out haha thank you so much!

You're not really giving us much to work with here. Your thread title does no good, and your request for information is way to vague. If you just want pics try google images.

Agreed. I tried to make your title more description so I changed it to "Need help with putting a 77-79 back together" That still isn't very descriptive but that's all I could gather from your post.

I have a 78, I have taken it apart and reassembled it 3 or 4 times in the past month... give us some more specific info of what you are looking for. I'd be glad to help.

Thank you! sorry I was in a hurry today.

I have the motor on the frame and the carb pput on. this bike was a gift but in pieces. Im confused about all the connections and hoses and vaccum lines and pretty much where everything goes. tomorrow ill take pictures of what I have on it and where and the items I can't Identify adn post them and maybe someone can make some sense of it. :)

xs 750 triple? That's one too many cylinders for around here....

WTH ?! it's still an XS and cool (ne; weird) in it's own way . Certainly not a Rocket three or Trident but drive line be damned they make a wonderful sound at full silly .
I'm not much of a fan of the late model brakes (well , okay they're crap) and as per usual the shocks are junk new . However a careful matching of springs and dampening on both ends and the beasties arn't too ill behaved . You can tame all but the weight jacking from the drive shaft and even that to some extent .
If down to the bare the only special tools needed are a deep , deep socket for the clutch hub nut and a rotor puller for the generator .
