Thank you jetmechmarty and racerdave for the nomination. I have been so busy with building a motorcycle trailer for my son and girlfriend I did not see this till now. Not sure if the contest is closed.
My XS650SF was acquired in late 2004 with 962 miles on it. The owner brought it to Hollywood from New York and promptly burned up the clutch within the first 6 months. I purchased a bunch of parts right after and just did not get to it till the last 8 weeks or so. Here is the modifications made:
EBC clutch plates and HD springs
Boyer Bransden Micro Power Ignition
1 1/2" headers with Brit style mufflers
Mikuni VM34's, K&N pods extended 2" from the carbs, new petcocks to clear the 2 into 1 throttle cables
Metzler 880 Marathon tires
RaceTech Gold Valve with Progressive Suspension springs and a fork brace
Progressive Suspension shocks, 1 1/2" longer than stock
SS brake lines
Baja Design turn signals using machined adapters
Daytona Touring bars
Found the luggage rack in a junk yard
Some pictures when I brought it home and now
Thanks again
