Piston ring discrepency from XS Cycle ( in Canada), Advice please!

I have been waiting for two weeks for these rings to arrive so I can reassemble my engine, got them today but found the depth of the new rings is significantly smaller ( top ring is .51mm smaller, the others have similar discrepancy

), ( first picture is of the old ring) the diameter and thickness is OK but I cant believe its OK to run these new rings, Anyone have experience with this ??
And yeah I know, that set of calipers is filthy ( they live in my travel toolbox)

Yes, ring width is important. Need to figure your "back clearance".
What with the various combinations of pistons and rings, long lost replacement parts, and questionable vendor offerings, you'll need to carefully measure and cross check every aspect of piston/ring fitments.
