This is the longest that I've not done any change-ups to my '83 Special in the 7 years that I've had her.....mebbe I'm done.
Standard tank and bars, shortened turn signals, 11" shocks, '77 xs750 front end with the smaller rotor, '79 Special seat, Lucas style tail light, volt meter, relocated ignition switch, Heritage Special 64 spoke front rim and the 36 spoke rear. 17/32 gearing. Power brake booster on the breather, XS John quick throttle mod along with his needles and mains, Uni pods with Special headers trimmed and Dunstall repro mufflers. Rattle can blue on the tank, aftermarket manual petcock. Redundant safety switches removed or bypassed.
