Oh-ho, not a dumb question. Many of us are concerned about that. The only way I know to confirm top-end oiling is to pull a valve cover while it's idling. If you get a mess, you're fine. The misting spray can travel a couple feet, good for engine, bad for the outside world.

A good reason to want clear valve covers. An excellent future project...

You will have to turn up the volume for this. I was using a stock Contour 2+ camera

This is my bike. Basically a stock rebuild with a Pamco ignition which works fantastic and solid state regulator/rectifier. It runs well, I have about 5000 on it since the rebuild. I built it to ride, and it has been really fun. This is my favorite bike ever.

Those shorties sound nice. I notice the paddock stand - might be the only way to prevent the booger from walking backward on the main stand when revving it, which can be a nuisance. I'll have to get one, I think.

No centerstand. It was removed along with it's frame tabs for those Omars pipes. The swingarm stand did make working on it easier.
