Rainy, 48 degrees and snow up north. Ma Nature determined it was time to put the summer toys away. All that's missing on this photo is " Ponch and Jon " (CHiPs) (Cb450-Xs650) Six more to load and prep for winter slumber.
My bikes sat out in the rain with cover on it. It’s been rainy for days and we’ve some localised flooding and standing water on the road. I’ve no idea how old those Avon’s (Avon - means river) are either so it’s going nowhere.

Motormike feeling the same way here in Atlantic Canada. Only the few odd days left and as soon as sun sets gets real cool. Gonna get a ride in on Sunday and will prolly count one one hand the ones left after that. Winter stinks wish we had a few more months of nice weather. JC
Still pull'n from downstairs and haul'n for storge….these are both 1970 units. The 450 Ducati out handles the 650 XS.. but then what doesn't out handle a hinged in the middle early XS? On a tight course the Duk would win.. if the course had room to stretch the throttle cables.. the XS would pull the Duk. As for brakes.. both have drums front and rear... I'd have to say.. about even.
I enjoy both machines.. each accomplishes the same function but in their own fashion with a different feed back.
I've been riding my tiger 800 since the XS is down. I've had to throw a towel over the seat at work so I'm not sitting on frost on my way home. I will say heated grips are nice though.
Yep..and with all the added humidity..its s sauna bath..my arthralgia has been off the charts the past few days...I long for the desert climate...
We broke another record here today...98* shattered the old records by 9* yesterday...Tmrw is going to be Fall..low 70s..Yay....
