Actually I did the nylon screw method but great physic abilities.I think the regulator I'm going to use is from an Yamaha XJ650.

By saving the other components I meant that if something would happen to the rotor and create a SHORT CIRCUIT the fuse would save them , that's why there for. Why would anyone do it? I don't know I haven't done it. It's just a question :) Here is what I know Electromagnetic rotor have that...

I know that for a short period of time nothing will happen to it but i'm talking about the Mr.Stupid scenario, as for the other components they are save from fuses if the anything happens.

Wanted to ask you guys if I provide the current for the rotor directly from the battery and not the regulator would it frye the rotor when the ignition is ON but the engine isn't spinning??

So,I had the pamco with the E-advancer and 60 degree rotor for about 1-2 months and it worked very good never misfire or whatsoever, and I also have gone above 7000 rpm with it but last week I was finishing the wiring harness checking everything with a cheap battery but the plus and minus signs...

I did more measurements of the ring gaps : -Top ring : 0.65 mm -Second ring : 0.65 mm -Oil rings : 1.5 mm So this should be the reason of my immense amount of oil in the chamber, I'm replacing the rings and if my cylinder bore is more than 75.25 mm I should go with oversize pistons?

Well this is getting depressing, the sealant failed. I have mounted the engine in a table to start it there and to run the engine without headers to see if smoke comes out.When I rev it,it literally spits oil from both cylinders. So I disassembled the top end again (this time the sealant tore...

I have assembled it the top end but I have checked if the surface is flat, the middle of the cylinder is 0.1mm lower than the sides, thought about giving it to a machinist but first I will give the sealant a shot. Used rubber based Innotech easy gasket, I will let you guys know if it fails.
