Just got some finishing touches done with the scoot. Ran into a few small issues with my PMA swap flywheel bolt backing off.. :doh: But its all good now for a few odds and ends, but its officially road worthy! Got a plate and some insurance now its time to ride!:thumbsup:

Hey guys, I was reading around and found several treads that talk about conversion to dual rotors. I could not find one that talks about a '76, spoke wheel. Is there a bolt on rotor that I can use to add on left side, or what calipers and rotors will bolt on the 34mm forks and spoke wheel...

Like the title says, just wondering if anyone could throw me there input and some info of the Hotwingglass cafe seat they got. Is it necessary to cut off the frames rear loop to make the seat fit? Any hassles with the seat in general? And I'm also curious what the ride is like? Thoughts :shrug:

Hello everybody. Ive got a 1973 XS650 that I am turning into cafe/street fighter type bike. I want to put a pedestrian slicer on my front fender but I really dont want to drill holes in it because it is almost perfect, so Ive been trying to find a second early 70s fender with the two braces on...

Next week I'll start cutting unnecessary bits out of my frame for a cafe build. Before I go crazy with a 4" grinder, what have you guys cut off? Anything you cut then regretted later?

I am working on building a cafe xs and a tracker GR, and the problem is, no one has any ideas. There is 10 guys in my hood who want to build choppers and bobbers and a few who already have. They hack 1/2 the bike off and toss the rest. I would rather do minimal work, light shaving of brackets...

Wondering what tanks these bikes have and also what seat/rear cowlings? Some are very similar but the shape of the scallops in the sides change....... The the yellow tank I have found comes in plastic, are they any good, pastil tanks? Feel free to share any other cool cafe tanks etc..

So I get my '79 XS at the end of this month and plan on stripping it to the bare frame and putting it back together with more of a cafe style. While I have if apart, is there anything I might as well take care of since it is apart? I'm talking about various bearings, bushings, hard to reach...
