Wondering what tanks these bikes have and also what seat/rear cowlings? Some are very similar but the shape of the scallops in the sides change.......

The the yellow tank I have found comes in plastic, are they any good, pastil tanks?

Feel free to share any other cool cafe tanks etc..

hi ,,alot of guys in aust.. use norton alloy tanks ...or a vellocette 500 tank ..you can usually pick up a norton tank at gattin swap meet... or in victoria sale swap meet or scorbsy swap meet ....they are all large swap meets .... regards oldbiker

Samurai, yep they are, but I can only find plastic versions of them. I don't know if they are any good.

Oldbiker….Scroresby swap would be the closest for me. Do you have a weblink for any of them?

sorry,,, i have not ,,,,,but i think its the vintage or classic bike club that runs it at scorsby... both those have a web site ,,,i think the guy ,,,secretary, live in monbulk,,,,,, also sale swap meet ... is great it takes up 2 and a bit football ovals... on the corner of sale/maffra road.. somebody at the council could help you with sale .... regards oldbiker

The bottom, 2nd from right is a good choice. It has a two-way bung. And the tang was made in a small town called "Poon".

Sorry Bill, the correct term is not tang, it is" taint." It can be operated manually, or by vacuum. They are very particular. The older ones are easier to deal with. some are known to squirt, while others just barely dribble.

I'm not sure if plastic would be any good in Australia, think the ethanol mix in the petrol might do something to it, by the way my inlet rubbers melted.

Here's a link for ebay, they got a fair amount of those mojave 360 tanks.
I'm fairly certain there metal tanks though....never seen em in plastic. The plastics may have been remakes, these are original

There about a 2.2 gallon tank, so there on the smaller, and they mount at the top of the back bone (so some light modification for tank seating is needed) but boy do they have the look.
