    Quick sprocket interchange question

So I'm shopping for sprockets and chain for my '74, many of the listings are year specific, and many seem to differentiate between pre '75, and later(although Mikes does not). Are they different, or are the year listings bs? Thanks!

    wheel bearing question

Wondering if any of the gurus can tell me if there is a way to visually check what year my front wheel is. I have a 72 XS2 and a while back I realized that my wheel is not a 72. The wheel doesn't have the strange one-year floating rotor from the XS2, but I am not entirely sure which year the...

    Chain links

Anybody have an idea how many chain links it takes for a 6" stretch hard tail with 17/34 sprockets. I need to buy my chain soon and there is usually a 20 dollar difference in chain lengths of 130 to 150 links. Any first hand knowledge is appreciated.
