05 gsxr

Has anyone done a conversion using 05 gsxr forks? Or does anyone know what parts I will need? I already have the forks. And I will be using cbrf2 rims. Thanks for the help

I have a set of 05 forks and trees but I have yet to put it all together. Monstercraftsman has a set on their turbo bike. They swapped the stem. I am using different bearings and milling a hair off the bottom of the upper tree. It all works on paper I have yet to put it all together got to get another project done first

Do you know if has been done? I'm gunna order the triple trees. An new stem bearings. I'm just hoping its not gunna be a headache.

It's gunna be a lot of work... But will look nice at the end. Thanks for threads! Fun part will be finding out how much to mill of the hub on the hard tail with the f2 wheels.

Just curios why your milling part of the bottom of the tree??

Not the bottom tree the bottom of the upper tree so the forks can sit down farther on the frame to make them just a bit longer.
