Hello everyone
I have a 1979 yamaha xs750 triple I've been trying to get back on the road for a few months now. I got everything up to snuff but I'm caught on the carbs right now. Had 2 sets of original carbs one hitachi one mikuni but let's just say they are a little outdated.
I recently picked up a nice set of mikuni rs38's flatslide performance carbs from a triumph triple 900 and having a bit of a head scratch as to getting them set up for the 750
I know that 38 is considerably large and that a set of 36's would be more desirable as mikunioz sells these for the stock engine
Just looking to get professional advise if it's worth going through the trouble to get the carbs to work properly
