77 xs650 jetting

I have a 77 xs650 and got the Mikuni VM round slide 34mm performance carb kit. With the jets in it the bike did not run great. I welded on some pipes that I got off someone. They are straight pipes with baffles in them so I’m guessing there’s not too much back pressure. I have the UNI foam air filters too. Hoping someone with a similar set up can help me with the jet sizes or if they know of another jet kit I could order to help my issue. I’ll post some pics. Thanks

I have 1 1/2" headpipes, commando mufflers. I am at 180 mains and 22.5 pilots. Many online suggest starting at 180/25 and MY experience is that advice is good. Your results may vary. Welcome, post pics, lots of pics.

what about the needle clip? Do you know where you have it set?
