79 Headlight Fit

My son broke my headlight today and I need to know what year headlamps will fit my bucket? 1979 XS650 Special. Thanks

I assume since the Heritage Special was produced from 78-85 those models all have the same Headlight. Anyone else know different?

I've tried an H6024 and an equivalent with a replaceable H4 bulb. They don't fit a special.

I use a Sylvania halogen H6024 (60/40 watt), and it fits right into me 78 Special bucket. Its a sealed beam and works great. Can be bought at most automotive stores and even at Wal-mart.

Yep, into my '83 and soon one for the '77.....Walmart.
