Hey guys ive got a 79 650 im planning on making a winter project out of one and am planning on mounting the battery under the swingarm. what id like to know is what size of battery i can get away with. So ill be running the pamco ignition, headlight, turn signals, brake lights and no starter.

will something like the napa 12v12 work? also is there anything else i need to know when mounting under the swingarm??

If you use a regular lead acid battery you need to stand the battery upright. On the bottom of the swing arm you need to lay it flat, so you need an agm stlye battery. Most any battery will work to just run what you have. Some use as small as a .7 amp hour battery. Some are about the size of a cigarette pack.
My self I might use one a bit larger, some where in the 4 amp hour size.
