carb questions

there are 3 tiny holes in the carb throat when the butterfly valves are closed one of the holes is visible on 1 carb & not on the other, are they supposed to be showing or hidden behind the valve? help please

They should appear the same on both carbs. If not, that would indicate your butterfly plates are not set the same. When nearly closed and at rest like that (throttle closed), your idle speed adjustment screw controls the amount of butterfly plate opening. Sounds like your idle speeds are mismatched and set differently on each carb.
