Chain links

Hello,
Im having a bit of trouble trying to fit my stock chain on an tc bro hardtail. How many links are used to to add on to fit.

buy a new 120 link chain and cut to fit. Dont add new links to an old chain, cause you end up with 2 masterlinks and a section of chain that is tight compared to the worn section.
