Clear coating aluminium.

I removed all thar rubbish Bulldog, polished the parts again and clear coated them with 2 k clear. A little disappointed in the finish, particularly the side panels.. The line block and risers came up pretty good without losing too much shine though.
Partly my fault I think as I rushed the polishing because I'm being admitted to hospital tomorrow and I'll be out of action for a month or more.
Who knows, I may remove the 2k, and do a better job on the polishing some time in the future. Plenty more parts to clear coat.
Yes I know that 2k doesn't stick to polished aluminium very well, but this bike will never see the bitumen while I have it, so it should last a while.

nice, I need to try that. I've polished, then polished some more. After that I polished it again, I really need to look at clear coat.

Really Good Looking job, report back how it holds up to the elements.
