Frame differences between 1977 standard and 79 se frame?

Dears,
Are there any more differences in frames apart from the rear shock mounting points and some minor changes in geometry? In other words: can I build my ‘77 parts on a ‘79 se frame?

Mostly. yes. Sidecover tabs aren't the same. Seat mounting won't match up. Making the adjustments isn't bad if you're capable of such things. All of the really important stuff is a direct swap. Like engine, wheels, forks, swingarm, tank, fenders, etc.

I will stick to my 77 frame without registration and have it officially registrated again. The 79 se frame has all papers so this would save checks and paperwork. I prefer to keep the bike original and without welding on the frame, although it is not for major items.

Sell the 79 with papers, that is valuable to a custom bike builder for sure.
Standard model XS's are very desirable
