My buddy Brent and I took a little trip. Started in Denver, heading to New Mexico.
Late night thrashing to finish his chopper in the 10 days before the trip.

pma swap banshee flywheel
hhb stator and bracket
pamco with mechanical advance
sparx capacitor

18/30 gearing 520 DID o-ring chain, no adjustment needed for the whole trip.
bs34 carbs with pod filters and bigger jets
1.6 gallon capacity tank 70-80 mile range.
ran 10w-40 motorcycle oil mostly.

Great trip! Thanks for sharing! Reminds me of my big bike trip many yrs ago.

Great pics, and great experience exploring your country, your bikes, and yourselves, I'm sure.

Are you glad to be home or sad? There seems to be two basic ways to do this. One is like a vacationer and the other is like a hobo. I used to fly to NYC every few months as a vacation, Disneyland for adults, and I feel like I never connected with anybody. The bike tour thing I did like a hobo, earning money when I needed it, and it was a much richer experience. It's like if you live right you'll be provided for, at least in the U.S.A.

I'd like to note here, for all the naysayers against hardtails, no front brake etc. These gorgeous pics speak for themselves. Riding is a personal choice, with knowhow it came be done regardless of preference. Amazing trip!!

Inspiring. !

You were in my backyard, sorta, in Dumbassville. I get gas there at the Stewarts shop routinely.
I've tried to take pics of that sign, but the locals frown on it. I wanna make it outta town.
Guess I've seen the ending to Easy Rider too many times.
