Front brake?

like i read on here before rear brakes are for when you want to stop and front brakes are for when you need to stop i have a front disk and rear drum with a side car and it stops pretty good but i love the way a front drum brake looks or even a front disk brake with a remote mounted master that looks trick

The rear brake is for scrubbing off speed to make the front brakes last longer. Also, its great for holding the bike at an uphill stop light while you shake out the tingling in your hands.

Front brakes are what stop your bike.

Disc brakes are always superior to drum brakes.

I would agree that this is true in general, but it is not always the case in specific instances. It is well known, for instance, that BMW R100s equipped with a rear drum have noticeably better rear stopping (or slowing) ability than the R100s equipped with a rear disk. Counter-intuitive, I know, but it's true.
