yesterday i was riding my xs it was running good got home and i noticed there was a crack in my gas tank took the gas out and took tank to work so i could weld the crack welded the crack shut and today when i put tank on my xs running like shit all i did was unhook the fuel line from the peck cock i put gas in the tank it keeps shutting off on me when im coming to a stop i think but im not sure that i have air in the fuel line ???

Sounds like you might have picked up some scale from welding are you running a fuel filter.

yeah i have a filter in the peck cock and a see trough one down the fuel line i washed the tank out and made sure i dried it out real good

Breathing line is pinched... once you stop and let it sit, tank refills with makeup air.

yeah i can see the fuel empty out of the see trough filter and when i stop it fills right up soooooooo............ solution?

check the cap vent the vent being clogged will cause this
