i went for a ride today. i noticed that when i pulled the clutch in there was a knocking noise coming from the clutch side of the motor. it went away when i relased the clutch. what could be making this noise?

It could be the clutch was assembled wrong the last time it was apart? Adjustment? Broken springs in the hub?
Just a few guesses, not a lot of info to go on.
