The headlamp was not working properly so I replaced the headlamp plug thinking it would resolve the issue.

Did not fix it. The headlamp works about 50% of the time and it fluctuates a lot. The moto runs well and is not affected by the intermittent headlamp. Could it be a bad handlebar switch? If anybody here has dealt with similar issues please help me out. Let the trouble shooting begin! Thanks!

I had a roach coach pull out in front of me one early morning while going to work. Just about flipped him off when I noticed the headlamp was out. Turned out to be the connections in the headlamp- headlamp plug, where it goes to the bulb and the ground connection. I cleaned the connections up as best I could and used some di-electric grease. All's well now, though I'm always checking.
