How much wrap?

I want to wrap my exhaust, but I'm not sure how much wrap to buy? Any pointers on working it out?

Hey Airwolfie, 2" tape, 1 3/4" pipe, 1/4" overlap 1' of exhaust will take a little more than 3' of tape if memory serves.

What brand of exhaust wrap are you buying? If you go to their website, you'll see a chart on how to figure length.

no chart do the math lol that is a cool calculator John though easier than doing the math
3.39 feet calculator says 40 inches
1.75 inches x 3.14159 = 5.4978 inches
12.0 inches / 1.75 inches = 6.86 turns

6.86 turns x 5.5 = 37.71 inches per foot

So 3 inches per inch of exhaust if I use 2 inch wide tape? So basically if I buy 10 meter of wrap, that should cover two exhausts.
