Yes, Jan, I think you are absolutely correct about your commentary. What can you say that is Golf Shoes and mummy's knitted socks or grandmas .
But why not be open minded times are Changing.
After a while getting the wind on the ankle he will fold the jeans back down.
First pair of jeans he has owned.
I remember the fashion with bell bottom jeans .. and jeans jacket ... no helmet
It happened more than once that the riders pants stuck in the fotpeg at a traffic stop
trying to set the foot down.
and down he goes .. The exhaust frying the leg.
I them days a man could not wear red trousers unless he was playing golf.
All kind of jokes about that and talk about sexual preferences.
And bullying.
Its about freedom so why not ...?
It is difficult to have a little fun with some uppity attitudes without being prejudicial to groups of people.
There is actually a "backstory" to Mr. Red Shoes that you might not be aware of, one that transcends just style. I would dredge it up for you, but many here would probably prefer that I wouldn't. Same with me.
I agree that we should be careful about being critical of groups of folks.
After all, we all are members of some group.
None of us are better than others.
