Am installing JBM boots on bs38 carbs.
Got them on this morning but the throttle arm that connects to the cable is knocking against the outside bolt that is holding the boot on. What am i missing here? using quite small-headed allen bolts as well.

have tried them upside down and swapped them side to side. urrrgghhhh

That throttle arm is all bent to crap it should be basically flat with the face of where it is bolted to the shaft. Picture worth a thousand words..........

ggGary thanks so much - bent the arm in a vice and it's all good.
Had me :banghead: for a while though as the bend looked like it was part of the design. Just one of the hassles of getting a bike that's incomplete - you don't know what is supposed to be right. I would have been stuffed today without this place.
Tomorrow I might even ride the thing!
