Hit a whopping 60 degreesF here in central New York today, so I went out for an extended shakedown run on the '82 Catskills bike, about 3 hours, sorting out the smallest details before my first trip to the mountains.
Got an ice cream cone in Fabius at my fav place, Hilltop.

The newly-installed voltmeter provided reassuring, consistent charging numbers, with Jim's rotor rewind at the heart of the system.

Mailman's recommendation of EMGO grips are also making me happy.

I wired the meter directly to the battery, giving me a much more responsive read-out than the previous connection I did at the brown wire in the bucket, plus it gives me the resting voltage before I kick over the machine.
Dropped some wires to a 1960's era micro toggle switch to the OEM 8mm hole in the frame gusset in front of the tank to shut the meter off.

Next, I want to install the same on my '83, but having trouble finding another 2 lug on/off micro toggle switch.
On EBay, the Chinese switches are all mini's, with 12mm threaded posts (too big).
All the micros with 1/4" posts are expensive used vintage items.
Anyone know where I can source a micro toggle 2 lug that will fit nicely in the 8mm hole?
