They're made from fire hose fabric which is really tough.
We used to use old fire hoses along the edges of flatbed trailers that hauled concrete block. I've seen forklifts snag the hose and pull the nails and wood out of the trailers and never damage the old fire hose.
I've seen fire hoses attached to mud pumps and stretched across roads and driveways for days on end and never tear even when the rubber inner lining shredded to bits.
True, but why do people wear them for hours walking around shows and other places if they are so easy to take off, lol.
And they are great protection. Ask a cowboy.
