Minor sidestand issue

Didn't want to hijack your thread INXS.
Sidestand kept getting stuck... bolted on a temporary solution but it's scraping the ground. Does this stand look original?

looks like mine. mines a stock 80. grab a new spring from mikes.
wait. what you meen getting stuck? like, stuck up between the pipe and frame? isnt there sposed to be a rubber bumper or sleeve or something like that somewhere?

Your missing the sidestand stopper little rubber sleeve u can get one from mikesxs for $2.50

It looks like the peg that sticks out for your foot is all bent to shit. that might be your problem if it's between the frame and pipe.

Interesting. I need to shorten my kickstand anyway so maybe I will go get a cheap wrench for my peg.
