Ok, I am converting my hillclimber to alcohol. The last few seasons i have ran race vp110 oxygenated gas, i ran thru 32 mm roundslides, then went to pwk flatslides then to 40 mm roundslides( dont even attempt to try to get a good idle running these big boys, they load up the cyl fast. only good for 3/4 to full throttle)
so now i have bought a set of fast by gast lectron pro 32 mm alky carbs, changed the fuel delivery system to as big of gauge as i could for highest flow. because you flow about double the alcohol than gasoline. i was wondering if anyone else has ran lectrons on an xs? any set up troubles you had, and any balancing issues.
i appreciate any input. btw, my goal in this is more power with less heat.
