My bro has trouble with his Honda CMX450 (Rebel), anyone help?

He's trying to test the CDI and the pickup coil, having a bear of a time. Is it the same process as an XS?

The online community for these doesn't nearly compare with the XS and he's had no luck on those forums. I told him to get an XS but he's a short guy and he thought it'd be too tall.

You know me...not too tall, if I'm ok on one your brother will be fine. Cut down the seat like an inch if he REALLY has a problem. We should let him ride mine

Get a factory manual. XS's do not have CDI's they have TCIs and have about nothing in common.
