Thanks for all the info and suggestions guys, I'll keep them in mind when I get to the frame.
Decided to start with my rocker cover. Its a bit mucky and one ofthe rockers is quite sticky so I think a good clean is in order!
So to get them out I did a bit of reading and used the search buttoneek:),and found a "how to"!
First got me a 6mmx50mm bolt and nut...........
As I don't have a sliding hammer or 500 washers(!), I decided my adjustable wrench would do the trick for a spacer to screw on to. So, 6mm bolt with two nuts( after my first attempt I realised you only need one really!) goes through wrench and into the rocker arm pivot slug.........
Then I proceeded with my 6mm spanner, winding the slug ever closer to the end of the wrench until it locks up...........
(I can just hear the screams and NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO's now!!)
I then gently tapped the wrench with a hammer until the slug came out and the arm fell into my lap......
Tadaaa.........
Now the next task is to clean this sucker up good and put it all back together again and hopefully the arm won't be sticky anymore!
Pics up later.............
