I rented a RE Interceptor from a young woman recently. When I returned it, she told me she wasn't strong enough to get the bike on the center stand. I immediately contradicted her. In a couple minutes of learning the technique, she did it easily. Start with the advice given by @Jim. Put your right foot on the centerstand tang. Put your right hand under the grab rail just aft of the shock absorber. Put your torso vertical. To do this, you must bend your knees. Now, keep your torso vertical and push the centerstand through the floor by straightening your right leg. I have arthritic knees and I can put my Eleven Special or XS650 Special on the centerstand while wearing flip-flops. Once you get it, it's easy.
