Hey all,
I think maybe this thread has been done to death (if so I apologize, please point me in the right direction but I can't seem to find the info I'm looking for exactly). I'm looking to get a battery. Small would be great. I plan to kickstart the bike ('79 2F) but do plan to keep head, tail and blinker lights. Stock everything else electrical. What kind of Volts and Ampherage should I look for and how small can I go? Any links to helpful vendor sites or tips on possible pitfalls would be super appreciated. Thanks!

I'm running a 12V 5.5 amp battery on my bobber. Kick only, Head light and all my other lights, tail, turns, speedo, tach are LEDs. You can get them at Radio Shack and other electronics stores, used for alarm systems, it's about the size of a large coffee cup. Hope that helps...

I got mine from a local electronics supply store Fulton Electrical Supply. Kind of what Radio Shack was like 20 or 30 years ago. Mind you, all my lights except the headlight are LEDs so very low draw. PamcoPete help me add up what I needed on an other forum called the xs650 Garage USA.

Well I'm going to run LED blinkers but non-LED head and tail lights. You think I can get away w/ 12V 7Ah?
