I just got a jet kit for my 73 xs650 from mikes xs .I have set the floats to. 950 like the book suggests. Fuel in the bowl ,starts on spray gas ,but under normal circumstances, no fuel to the plugs.I put in the largest needles set one notch higher. I am running pod filters and a 2 into one pipe open no baffling. So I was going all in and figured I could back off later if needed. Before I jetted it ,the problem was I was running rich. Maybe put old components back in with the needle up a notch
