With this dumpster fire of a year we all find ourselves with a little more time on our hands than we might have had previously. I for one cannot stand idle downtime, so I have to keep the hands busy. Lets see all the non-moto projects, creations, and accomplishments. I'll kick it off with my half hull model. After living all up and down the east coast I always admired all the old shipfitters half hull lofting models. I thought I needed one for my wall, well come to find out real ones are freaking expensive. So I set out to make one, busted out the pine, my trusty old handplanes, and whetstones and got to work. I printed out a set of loft drawings for a suitable boat, layed it out and shaped it. Boat is pine, rudder is walnut, mount is white oak.
