RD250

Does anyone have experience with the RD250?

A friend of mine just picked one up on a trade and is looking for some support. I searched for RD specific forums but can't seem to find one with the dedication I see around here.

Any helpful links or tips is appreciated.

That's surprising considering how many RD250/350/400's are out there. There's a guy on another forum I frequent who's rebuilding an RD350, I'll see if he has any ideas/sources. FWIW, I've had my hands in them a little bit, they aren't complicated. Typical piston port air cooled two stroke, not a lot different from a weedwacker.

Pieces parts and tech info: http://www.motocarrera.com/index.html It's mostly RD350, but other than bore/stroke the 250 was the same.
