Yes, '74 and newer are all the same axle. Before '74 were different, shorter I believe.

Have an 'ardcore hardtail that i was using an '80 rear axel in, machined some spacers to make up for it, but now that i'm tearing it apart again figured id ask if there was something made by Yamaha that would do the trick vs taking my current axel to a machine shop
