Yes. I made a little adapter bracket out of a steel strip. The strip was about 1/8" thick and 3/4" wide. The two holes I made in it are 1/4" dia., and are 7/8" apart center to center. I had to make a notch about 1/4" deep in the gusset on the right to clear the bottom plug wire terminal. There are two washers between the coil and the frame on the right side, to match the thickness of the bracket.
I don't notice any performance difference, but I have high hopes I'll see a longevity difference! According to an ebay ad, this coil was factory oem on about 240 different models/years of Hondas. I've seen them for as little as $14 on ebay.
It's 3 ohms instead of 2.75 (2.5 + 10% tolerance) but the TCI couldn't care less. If anything it's a little grateful...
